A tribute to the Yiddish language and to those traditions that are rapidly disappearing. These excerpts were actual weekly Yiddish radio broadcasts from the 40s swing era in America, but ironically at the same time of the Holocaust massacres in Europe. (photos by Julie Lemberger)

*Dance works by Amy Kail were made possible, in part, with a space grant from The 92nd Street Y Harkness Dance Center, and **a grant from Meet the Composer.

All photographs except the postcard cover photo by Julie Lemberger.

These performances were made possible, in part, by The Joyce Theater Foundation, which owns and operates Joyce SoHo.
